Story

The world is the same as ours.
However, there is one thing that is different.
Some dogs and cats have obtained human bodies, while retaining their ears and tail.
These people are called "Mimikko".

In this world, a young man named Jun Yuuki set out and went to a vocational training school to become a Trimmer,
a person who treats Mimikko, dogs, and cats.
The dog Mimikko, Sachi and Hinata, and, his best friend, Takuya Midou.
Every day is spent living happily with his friends.

Before long, Jun falls in love with the Mimikko Sachi.
The two continue enjoying their days, and the Trimmer's exam for Jun draws near before long.
For that, the two practice over and over to improve Jun's ability.
However, one day, a week before the examination.
Jun is told an important fact from Sachi.
What is that fact......?

What are Mimikko?

Mimikko are the cat girls or dog girls you usually see in Japanese manga or anime. It comes from the words Mimi and Ko, meaning Ears and Child respectively. Cat girls and dog girls usually have a large set of ears on their head which makes them easily recognizable by the community. Mimikko ears can either be on the side of the head (where human ears would usually be) or on the top . Usually, if the ears are on the top of the head, the human ears are absent.

What kind of people would like this game?

People who like lolies, innuendo, lolies who say things with innuendo, dog girls, cat girls, a moe imouto, anti-gravity sweaters, HNNNNNNNGGGGGGGH, Dakko!, being called Master, petting things, lots of story, low amount of H-scenes (7.22% of the game is H-scene content), and going on long walks.

Also, people who like Mimikko in general.

What kind of people would dislike this game?

People who dislike lolies, innuendo, lolies who say things with innuendo, dog girls, cat girls, a moe imouto, anti-gravity sweaters, HNNNNNNNGGGGGGGH, Dakko!, being called Master, petting things, lots of story, low amount of H-scenes (7.22% of the game is H-scene content), and going on long walks.

Also, people who don't like dumbass main characters, though many games have a stupid idiot as a main character.

News

April 25, 2012, Are You Ready?

'Cause I'm lady. Kyun's finally hitting the iDOLST@TION 3 tommorrow, so Namco can take more of my money. The trap's also in this catalogue, so holy crap please make me poorer, Namco.

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything on here. That's mostly because there isn't a lot to say. I opened up some of the scripts to some select peoples, and stuff has sort of been under review. Got iM@S2 somewhat recently, and haven't managed to get much done on Pure Pure since, but in this brief pause waiting for Kyun I've resumed doing a bit of heavy editing on Tobari's chunk of chapter 4. ETA is still sometime before I die, assuming I don't get hit by a truck or something in the immediate future.

It's okay though, just buy iM@S and you won't have to care about anything else anymore. --dummyacct7 23:56, 25 April, 2012 (UTC)

December 24, 2011, What is this, a Challenge?

Hey, so I'm just browsing pics of sadlife Christmas, when I run into this shit.

2011-otaku-christmas-3-014.jpg

You callin' me out, bro? That's mai waifu and gay-moo you got there! You'd better treat 'em REAL nice if you're thinkin' 'bout competing with my love. Oh, and fix the aspect ratio on dem wallpapers. Mai waifu and co. don't like being fat.

At any rate, merry Commercialism day, sadlife friends! --dummyacct7 6:13, 25 December, 2011 (UTC)

October 16, 2011, OHMYFUCK ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

Holy ass is that actually FAWTS!? Yeah, get your ass on the new IRC channel I had to put up bro, I need to see this shit to believe it!

You'd better send me SOOOOO many loli mangoes (and I mean physical copies, bound and everything) for up and vanishing like that. --dummyacct7 20:22, 16 October, 2011 (UTC)

October 15, 2011, Where the fuck has FOTS been, Jesus balls DA7 is even working on his Chapter 2

No seriously, I've been gone for so long and dA7 has been translating in my stead. DA7 I need to send you cookies to Canada or wherever the hell you live.

My excuse: School, failing classes, cannot fail classes if I actually want to be a suitable member of society. That and I have a loli girlfriend who wants me to make love to her everyday.

DA7 when I get mIRC again I'll meet you in that room. Or something. Maybe I'll just give you super OP in the other room or something since Kyuu still lives there (Unless they decided to turn her off ;A;)

Once this hell week is over I should start looking over the tools and making sure I still know how the fuck to compile an installer and start releasing shit. --Furyoftheskies 02:52, 15 October 2011 (CDT)

August 13, 2011, PSA

Totally unrelated to Pure Pure, but everyone would benefit from increasing their manliness by enjoying this game. It's rather well produced, and definitely not gay in the slightest. Hell, it even has Youmu in it, how can you go wrong with that? In any case, that's all I got right now.

Enjoy life, always. --dummyacct7 2:21, 14 August, 2011 (UTC)

June 25, 2011, Oh Derp

Hey, did you guys know it's tournament season for fighting games? 'Cause it totally is, and I totally haven't been getting anything done on Pure Pure as a result, plus now that Plat's finally out, I need to level up my game so I can win BBCS2 at Canada Cup this year... But really, I apologise for the recent lack of progress, and intend to pick up on that front.

It'll probably help the project if everyone in the area keeps running away from ranked matches when I beat them =/ --dummyacct7 1:22, 26 June, 2011 (UTC)

May 31, 2011, We're Moving!

Well, since FOTS hasn't appeared on IRC in a good while, the original IRC channel has been de-registered (as has his nick). That being the case, it makes it more difficult for it to be managed, what with no ChanServ, so I started up a new one. The new IRC channel is at #FOTS-TLs, still on Rizon and whatever. I'll still be about the original channel for a bit until everyone moves over, that is, when my computer isn't off, considering I'm in Hawaii right now ffs. FOTS, if you show back up some time, I'll give you super OP status, just that I can't exactly do that for a de-registered nick.

And here I'm supposed to be on vacation! --dummyacct7 7:40, 1 June, 2011 (UTC)

May 16, 2011, Done!

Sort of. I'll elaborate. I'm pretty behind where I want to be, but fucking hell I'm trying, but even so, the project has hit what's at least a milestone in my mind. The game is now fully translated through where Tobari first appears in the story, all the way through her end. I think that's pretty cool, at least.

On another note, I'll be going on a short vacation at the end of this month, continuing into the start of the next. This probably won't mean a lot with regards to the project, as I'll likely still have lots of downtime that will get allocated to Pure Pure anyways. What it does mean though is that I won't be lurking on IRC or the forums constantly. --dummyacct7 23:39, 16 May, 2011 (UTC)

April 21, 2011, Oh Shit, FOTS, Where Are You?

Ho'kay, so, I'm about 1000 lines from done from where Tobari first shows up through, well, I guess her end, but basically what this means is Chapter 2 is, more or less, getting pretty close to translated. There's quite a lot of stuff before where I picked up that needs doing, but I also need that chunk at the start that should already have been translated. That said, FAWTS, GIVE ME YOUR CHAPTER 2 TRANSLATIONS, ZA WARUDO IS BEGGING YOU! If you can't catch me on IRC, just send me a link for them in a PM or dump them on the beta forums or whatever. Not having to re-translate those thousand lines would probably be something of a time-saver =)

BBCS2 finally dated for consoles? It's okay, only been a seven month wait for Plat, that's almost nothing in Pure Pure terms! --dummyacct7 19:18, 21 April, 2011 (UTC)

Patch Details - Patches to be Released

Tobari Patch Details

The Tobari Patch is likely to be the next release for the project.

  • This will include a re-edited version of the Interview and Sachi patches, plus the translation of Chapter 2, Chapter 3, and Tobari's route in Chapter 4, including the special ending that becomes available after clearing both Hinata and Tobari's routes (even though Hinata's route remains largely untranslated).
    • This will effectively translate 26875 of the 33110 total lines, or 81.17% of the entire game.
  • The Voice Patch V2 integrates with this as well. It will continue to voice Midou, plus the other various random characters that you encounter while playing the game.
    • Additional sound effects will also be integrated into the patch where appropriate.

Voice Patch V3 (Thinking About It)

  • Patch size TBA, expected to be over 140 MB
  • This version will be the same as the Voice Patch V2, except it will add even more voice samples into the voice file, specifically, the voice samples for the After Story.
  • Since I won't be changing anything, but instead adding things into the voice file, it will be possible for me to offer a smaller V3 patch for those who have already obtained the V2, and an entirely new V3 for those who have yet to obtain any of our previous Voice Patch releases.

Patch Details - Released Patches

Sachi Patch Details

Sachi Patch is a redone version of Chapter 1, with proper English. It translates 6674 lines, or 20.16% of the game.

  • The Sachi Patch should not contain any spelling or grammatical errors whatsoever. A thread will be made for corrections once it is released. If you happen to encounter a misspelling or a grammatical error, you may report errors there.
  • The Sachi Patch can be used with the Voice Patch V2 to voice Midou and some random characters in the storyline.
  • It basically includes all the extras that were in the Young Hinata Patch, including the extra sound files and the CGs from the PS2 version, though the special CGs have been redone to look even nicer than before.

Young Hinata Patch Details

Young Hinata Patch translates the introduction (found in the extras menu) and all of Chapter 1. Total of ~6600 Lines. This was thought to be 20.09% of the entire game, but it is not the case.

  • The Young Hinata Patch was an initial release patch. This patch contained some small grammatical and spelling errors, however, it was considered readable and made available to the public as soon as translation was finished and slight corrections were made. Since this release was expected to contain errors, there is no thread on the board for corrections.
  • The Young Hinata Patch size is 11.4 MB.
  • The patch requires 254.4 MB of hard drive space. This shouldn't be a problem considering how big hard drives are nowadays.
  • Also included are some special PS2 exclusive CGs. These are CGs that were included in the PS2 version of Pure Pure. You won't be able to view them in the gallery, so they only appear when you're playing the game.
  • The patch also contains 2 new songs, SA-CHI and Days of Agony. These are not accessible through the gallery. They are PS2 exclusive songs that were used in place of different songs during scenes in the PS2 version. The scene was recreated on the PC for your enjoyment.

Voice Patch V2

This patch adds various PS2 voice samples into the voice file, including Midou's voice samples, and some other random characters you will encounter in the game. You will need the Voice Patch V2 in order to be able to install the special scripts in each patch that allow you to listen to them in the game.

  • Patch size is 139 MB.
  • This is an optional patch. You don't need it to play Pure Pure, but it does add to the overall experience of the game.
  • This version re-samples all the voice clips obtained from the PS2 and adds them into the voice package. This include Midou's voice samples and the voice samples of various random characters.
