Your text editor seems to be replacing "〜" with "?" as seen in http://www.tsukuru.info/tlwiki/index.php?title=Idolmaster_SP:PS:15272&curid=6072&diff=30818&oldid=18538 . Which one are you using? This is a pretty strange bug. Also, there's no need for you to edit Idolmaster SP:PS page, all the work is done by a bot (notice how she changed your 40% to 61%, which seems to be a more realistic value). --Anonymous of Russian Federation 09:34, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
If you're looking at the 3rd and 5th block of text, you'll notice that the original Japanese uses question marks. It is not a bug, as there is no other "~" that is having a problem. Those parts had question marks originally, so I kept them. Thank you for letting me know, though. If there is anything else wrong, let me know.
If you're working on the script in a word processor and pasting it back into wiki, please make sure you don't alter anything that starts with a hash character (#). It's going to make it difficult for any potential TL checkers later on. And those were originally Shift_JIS tildes, not Unicode question marks. In your edit, the third line was altered from #「……うう〜、どうしよ〜」 to #「……うう?、どうしよ?」. Yes, she may be asking a question, but you don't have to alter the original line. Just reflect it in your translation at the bottom.
And I noticed you reverted Arisa's edit without giving any explanation. I kind of have a good guess on why you did it, but it's just rude to revert it back without providing a proper reason. Besides, a lot of your sentences didn't fit in the game boxes so Arisa was doing the people who are going to play the game a favor. I'm glad you want to help out with the project, but please don't hoard any scripts for yourself since this is supposed to be a team effort. --Kugyuuu 02:42, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Of course. I'm terribly sorry for any inconvenience, I'll be more careful. Would you like me to continue the script anyways? If so, I'll start translating directly on the page rather than copying and pasting, if that's not a problem. Again, I'm terribly sorry for any inconvenience.
Of course, please feel free to continue by all means. Thank you very much for your contributions so far. Sorry if my earlier message came off as too harsh. I was a little cranky earlier since I was having a bad day. Very sorry about that. 。・゚・(ノД`)・゚・。 --Kugyuuu 09:47, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Yes, please don't revert my edits. I have reasons for doing the things I do, like length, consistency, wording, how they look like in the actual game, and other grammar-y stuff. (like avoiding using caps for emphasis since multiple capitalized letters in a row take up a lot of length in the game itself.) I've edited every translated script so far, so please give me the benefit of the doubt. :P --Arisa 23:27, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
