TIPS 029: J'防波堤'

船舶が泊まる港湾や、陸域の安全を外洋の波から
守るために築造された堤のこと。
すぐ近くにある商店街の釣具屋で道具を
レンタルできるため、
釣りを楽しめるスポットとしても機能している。
もっとも、防波堤自体が古いのか、
海が時化ている際の高波はこの防波堤をやすやすと
越えてしまうこともあるので、
釣りにおもむく際は天候に気をつけたい。

TIPS 029: E'Pier'

Also known as a breakwater, it's an artificial bank created to dock ships and
to protect the land from the ocean's waves.
The pier is a rather popular fishing spot,
since it's very close to a fishing tools shop in
the shopping district where you can rent gear.
However, the pier is quite old, so when
the sea is storming, its large waves
can easily wash over the pier;
it'd be wise for those who go fishing to be wary of the weather.
