  • July 25, 2011 - I'm going to continue proofreading past entries given the mess that's going around. I'm calling out to other translators to help me out with this project (preferably someone with SOME level of experience in translating, because this isn't a translation job to be taken lightly), because as it stands, I'm kinda overworked. --EdMX
  • July 11, 2011 - Translation is now on indefinite hiatus. The translators are on strike after free beer was taken away due to budget cuts. --Koto

Edit: Just a notice as 7se7en in IRC (I was cooking, so I couldn't reply) asked if posting a torrent for the game in the links is okay. No it is not. I'd rather it seem like we don't support the piracy of the game, which is why I posted the Amazon link. Legal links only, please.

[edit] Hacking

Most of the significant files are stored in INSDIR/RES.DAT. It's a GPDA very similar to the ones used in Toradora P! so I was able to extract most of the files inside using tenoritool. Of particular interest is script which contains the files I've listed in the script files section.

Each scene has up to 6 dats depending on type (A-regular T-twoshot G-(CG?) E-ending)

Dat 1 - wav.vol/obj (contains script)/two shot start and end gim/tsukkomi gim
Dat 2 - background gims
Dat 3 - cutscene gims
Dat 4 - character gims
Dat 5 - SE hca
Dat 6 - two shot animation data

USRDIR contains several awb archives which are actually a version of a classic CPK. Only problem is they lack the internal file name table. They can be extracting either using cripackedfilemaker or utf_tab07b6_special. Each of them contain more HCA files with slightly different headers.

Script files are divided into their individual arcs, each arc containing several numbers of event scripts. The total number of event scripts per arc is indicated after the script file name in parenthesis. Percentage completion of each script file is presented as a percent of total event scripts per arc.
