いろいろな意味で、気の休まる暇がない。%K%P
In many ways, I had no time to relax.

黄泉木から、カンパンの入っている缶詰とカモミールティの入ったカップを受け取る。%K%P

I tossed the biscuits into my mouth.

やっぱり全然味がしない。%K%P
Indeed, they had no taste at all.

昨日もひと口かじったが、やっぱりおいしいとは思えない。%K%P
I had a bite of one yesterday too, and I still definitely couldn't call them delicious.

They might have normally been tasteless, but... due perhaps to my hunger, they tasted delicious to me.

ゴマの風味が効いた、高級なお菓子のようにすら思える。%K%P
The taste of the sesame seeds flavored them well enough, and I could even think of it as a high-class pastry that way.

黄泉木「確かに低体温症が進むと、急激に眠くなったりするんだが……そうでない限りは、睡眠はとった方がいいんだ」%K%P
It's true that when hypothermia sets in, you feel a sudden drowsiness, but... as long as it isn't that, it's best to sleep when you can.

黄泉木「眠らないと、体力を著しく消耗する」%K%P

ほどなく、下山の装備を調えて戻ってくる。%K%P
Without hesitating, he gathered all the mountain climbing equipment and returned.

I was just kidding!

黛はカンパンの中の氷砂糖をくちに放り込むと、頬をもごもごさせながら２段ベッドに跳び乗った。%K%P
Mayuzumi put the rock sugar from her biscuits into her mouth and chewed on it as she jumped onto the top bunk.

黄泉木の正論に言い負かされそうになったのが、よっぽど悔しかったのだろうか。%K%P
It must have been vexing for her to have been defeated by Yomogi's sound arguments.

壁の方を向いたまま、黛はこちらを見ようとはしなかった。%K%P
Eyes fixed on the wall, Mayuzumi wasn't looking this way.

握りしめた拳を解くと、黄泉木は再び深いため息をつく。%K%P
Yomogi released his clenched fist and took a deep breath.

黄泉木「なあ、冬川さん？　どうして僕は、あんな女を助けちまったのかなぁ？」%K%p
Hey, Fuyukawa-san? Why did I ever save a woman like that?

前世で悪い遊びでもしてたんじゃない？
